“Shastrartha” or intellectual debate was a venerated custom in ancient India. Students developed their knowledge by mutual discussions and debates with renowned scholars. It was from this samvaad that the Indian tradition of logic and allied investigation evolved.

 

Argumentative Indians aims to revive that spirit of questioning and challenging an opposing viewpoint using logic. The objective of an honest debate is not to win or to settle the issue, but to understand the subject from multiple dimensions in order to become better informed.

 

We strive hard to remain non-partisan and facilitate balanced debates. All viewpoints are welcome and panelists are able to clearly communicate their arguments without noise and rhetoric.
